Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Time for the deciding point of the season for alot of teams i think.........

I have commited FF suicide and benched RVP with Suarez as captain

    3-5-2...

    Vorm
    Simpson--Kompany--Huth
    Pineaar-Dempsey-Siggy-Bale-Barfa
    Cisse--Suarez

    Evans-RVP-BAE on the bench

Quite likely i will switch to CIsse for captain before deadline i reckon

I got up too early, giving me 4 hours to change my captain choice. I prefer waking up at 11:31 and just having it done... :(

And then no early game makes it even worse!

I just can't decide how many goals will be in the Manc derby it could be a feast or a famine

I'm OK with that. It's that 11:30 deadline that kills me. After that, my brain shuts down for at least 48 hours to replenish so literally anything could happen and I wouldn't care.

Then come Monday/Tuesday, it turns back on and I start randomly shouting at the FF page, regardless of results.

Had to play Kompany as he was at home but i reckon there wont be many goals in this,Utd will keep it tight as long as we can.

Team decided. Now to watch some snooker :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,094 ✭✭✭SpaceCowb0y

    Settled for...

    Vorm
    RTaylor Caulker Gibbs
    Dempsey Sigurdsson VDV BArfa
    Cisse(v) Tevez Jelavic(C)

    Valencia JEvans BAE

Have been in dismal form with my squad and captain choices lately, really need to get it right this week and make up some ground or its game over for me!:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Settled for (4 point hit taken)

    Krul
    Simpson, Caulker, Vermaelen
    Sigurdsson, Bale, Pienaar, Dempsey
    Cisse, Jelavic (c), Tevez

    Subs:- Vorm, Sessegnon, Kompany, Evans

    Gonna be an interesting GW!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Howard
    Hibbert Jags Shawcross Enrique
    Maxi Silva VDV The Sigmeister
    Aguero Ade(c)

    Subs: Bogdan Albrighton RVP Kompany

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 378 ✭✭Bigtoe107

    Friedel
    Simpson
    Jagielka
    Warnock
    Vdv
    Siggy
    Dempsey
    Ben Arfa
    Van Persie----Cisse (C)----Jelavic (Vc)

Not a bad team I think, took an 8 point hit to ship out BAE, Walcott and Aguero. I have a 50 point lead in my private league so a good week this week and it's all over I think

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

You must be a Man United fan to take a 4 point hit to get rid of Aguero!

    EDIT

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17879753

Gareth Bale admits he will consider his future at Tottenham if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Could be time to punt Bale!

Well with 19 players this week, if I dont get over 100 points I might as well give up playing FF.

    :D

    Krul x2

    Shawcross x2
    Walker x2
    Evans J----
    Williams --- Ben Arfa x2 --- Dempsey x2 (c) --- Bale x2
    Bendtner
    Crouch x2
    Ba x2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 378 ✭✭Bigtoe107

Yeah ha, I don't think he will score though and I needed to get in Jelevic. I just hope Rvp does something to repay my faith in him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

I'm hoping for a MAJOR Newcastle fail this week. No goals scored, a ton conceded, Oh and red cards for Barfa and Papiss Cisse too please :) :pac: :pac: :pac: :D

Just looking at the top of the Boards league. Looks like it is indeed an Everton -v- Newcastle scenario.

Not many have a defender/mid/striker from each team. It's generally Cisse OR Jelavic, Pienaar OR Ben Arfa, Simpson OR Hibbert/Jags.

If it wasn't for injuries forcing emergency transfers, I would have added one of the Newcastle lads. Probably glad I didn't have to choose which.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

I've 3 Newcastle players and 2 Everton attackers and captained an Everton player

Gameweek Rank probably end up in the 2,000,000 range!

That is funny. But on a serious note, Stoke were without Huth, and Shawcross went off early in the first half in that match, you can't really judge a teams defensive performance without their 2 first choice centre halves

Fulham will be without Martin Jol today. Has a chest infection, apparently.

Let's hope for another chaotic away performance!

Delighted to see Santon starting. I've missed out on his three clean sheets. Hopefully I haven't jinxed him by bringing him into my team.

Dont see any shocks in starting line-ups. Almost too eeriely predictable. Managers putting out best teams now, not saving any player with niggle.

On course to win a 25 euro voucher if I stay top of my paid league for April, so a good week would be lovely :) Only have 5 double game weekers. Captained Cisse so hope he does the business once again.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

I'd say it's down to a mixture of Santon's great form, Cabaye and Tiote being back and Ben Arfa playing exceptionally well. There's nowhere really for him to slot in.

He'll be shipped so. A week too late mind you. Only 3 points ahead of my nearest rival. It'll be a squeaky bum weekend!

(he captained rvp, so I might be ok...)

Santon might be worth a punt. He has played in their last three games and they've kept a clean sheet in all three. Pardew said this week that he has been playing brilliantly the last few weeks.

I don't think he's going to be dropped if he gets through this game week in a good shape. And at 4.2 he is way cheaper than Simpson.
