RAM for iMac G3

Hi, I'm looking for RAM for an iMac G3 400 DV, an old machine I know but my GF is using it for word processing and even word + itunes is making it creek.

They're good too. Maybe a bit cheaper. They should sort you out no bother!

Thanks for that. I was more kind of hoping someone had a dead mac and wanted to sell off the ram. It's not vital, but if I can pick up a good deal I'd go for it.

any low density PC100 RAM and some PC133 will be fine, its hit and miss with 133 unless you know what you are looking for

Basically if it works with a PII, K6 or PIII in the x86 world that it will 86% work in your iMac unless it is a VERY specific module for a compaq or similar.

Put a wanted ad on the FS section, you need PC100 low density (ie 8Mb or 16Mb chips, not 32).
Its commonly double sided and the 128 and 256MB will most likely have 8 chips each side of the module.
