Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is anyone in the West having bother with no signal and getting the message 'Your sky box isn't receiving a satellite signal'? It's only affecting certain stations aswell. I know we've had it the odd time before, maybe a couple of times a year and the whole lot would go, but I thought that was due to weather, Can't figure why only some stations would be affected though.

It's a problem with your own setup. Probably just misalignment of your dish. In the majority of cases, some channels will drop out before others.

    Thanks for that.

Would it be the kind of issue I'd need to get them out to sort out do you know, or is there a DIY fix?

Yes, I've noticed it with the BBC HD channels on a Sony TV. My brother has lost a few channels on his Freesat box and my sister in Dublin is having similar problems. Only began happening recently.

My BBCs are fine, it's the Channel 4 stations, Mtvs and Dave that I've noticed it with. We've had some very heavy rain here so I thought it might be due to the cloud, but then realised it's only affected some stations.

It can be DIYed if you know how to trace the fault & effect a remedy.

Don't read anything into only some channels being affected. Borderline reception will seem to magnify small differences in reception between channels, due to the all-or-nothing nature of digital TV.
