Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You need to check if the hard drive is IDE or SATA , and check the height of the drive you have also , the replacement will need to be the same.

But other than the physical size of the drive and that its IDE. will
the laptop accept a bigger HD?

If you mean bigger in terms or storage capacity, yes.

For the T30 you'l need an enhanced IDE (ATA-6) 2.5" drive for best results. You can certainly do 160GB, but a web search for 'T30 ATA' should tell you all you need to know.

Thanks for all yer help with this guys.
Theres a few hard drives on Komplett are all ATA-100

Ive googled and read a bit and from one site it said

"ATA-6 represents the sixth generation of the ATA interface standard. ATA-6 is also known as Ultra ATA/100"

Those this mean that ATA-6 is ATA-100?
