DOE - charge for re-test

MY pick up failed DOE test on a few things including emissions test. DOE test centre staff are telling me that because of emissions fail I will have to pay half test fee on re-test. Never heard this before and can't find any info. on line. Anyone know if this is true.

Yes, I have been charged for some re-tests on some of our vans....like the NCT, if it's a visual it's free, if it uses equipment then there's a charge.

Emissions, yes. They charge for use of equipment.

42.50 a retest, apply in 28 days blah blah blah...
