How the feck can anyone tell you that without you telling them what engine it has etc etc :) Folks (most) here don't have crystal balls and that sort of carry on.

About a tenner anyway I suppose give or take a few hundred +.

That seems very cheap for a main dealer I would have thought, no? Is the 1.6 petrol a particularly easy one to work on?

Moral of the story here is if your thinking of buying a Vag with the 2.5, buy a van :)

    2.5 Engine (Crafter) €660.00
    2.5 Engine (Audi €1200.00

    Water pump will be extra.

Independent will be substantially cheaper. We charge €300 for the timing belt kit and water pump on those using all genuine parts.

There are several different models of A4 with dozens of engine combination's, hence the need for information when posting questions like yours.

Where are you based George? I'm looking to get a timing belt done on a 02 Audi A4 1.9tdi 130bhp

We are near Portlaoise in Co Laois. The 1.9TDI is €350 rather than €300 though.

Hiya, how much for an 09 Qashqai 1.5dci is a few months

Should be roughly around the €350 mark as well.

Depends entirely on the car/engine you have. Its also not just based on miles, timing belts have a time schedule for changing too, eg every 4 years etc.

    It's a 02 Audi a4 1.9tdi 130bhp and the last timing belt was changed in January 2009
