Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yet another 'Which car' thread

I'm currently driving what has to be the worst car I've ever owned. It a 2002 Renault Clio on which I've had my fingers burnt. The previous owner covered up some major issues with the car and belatedly lied about other claims, such as the timing belt. I've since spent over €500 on getting a new head gasket, coil pack, and timing belt fitted. It's still troublesome to start from cold and nobody seems to know why; I've pretty much had enough.

I'm looking at possibly trading up to something decent and am looking for something in and around the 3k mark. This is where I need your help/suggestions. I don't have a lot to spend so I'd like to make it stretch as much as possible and get something decent that'll do me for a few years.

Budget: €3000 (that's including my trade in)
    Car: Anything 1.4L or under.

Also, can anyone possibly give me an idea of what I might get for my Clio on trade in?

    Cheers.
