Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TrueCrypt : Drive encryption

I use TrueCrypt for laptop security. today, I replaced my TrueCrypt secure 160GB HDD with a new 500GB. Happy days and full of glee.

I didn't decrypt my old hard drive first, as I don't want to. I might want to put that HDD back in and leave it encrypted.

The problem is, I have the 500GB in the laptop and turned it on, forgetting to put in my windows install media....

TrueCrypt Rescue Disk boot loader pops up. How is this possible? When I encrypted the drive, TrueCrypt said it was going to install a boot loader. My understanding of a bootloader is that it gets installed on track 0 [possibly in the first 1024 bytes] of the HDD. The HDD has been removed. Can anyone shed some light?
