Shannon Airport to Galway

    hi gang,

    ok, I'm coming home in august for the picnic and to buzz about the west for a bit,

    we land in shannon late 22:30 and need a bus to galway, looking on busearann site it looks like a long sleep in the airport before getting the bus in the morning at 7:30

    citylink have a late one that leaves at around midnight, but that's leave us in galway at about 2am (i think?)

    are there any other busses or methods of wacky transport between shannon and galway?

    No really is the answer :(

    2am is kicking out time in Galway so a taxi will be harder to find.

    Investigate a taxi/bus to Limerick. Maybe stay there a night?

    It will take half hour to get to the gate less if yo have no luggage. The city link is as good as you will get it if you want a bus.

    You could hire a taxi or rent a car. Shannon to galway city is about one hour and 15 mins.
