    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a nice toyota 04 corolla, 5 door, petrol engine, low mileage and in good condition. I have tired donedeal and carzone and the price is around €4000 to €4500.

    - What price would you put on this car?
    - Has anyone seen a similar car around Cork or Carlow?

    Thanks everyone!

    Will.

I'm in Cork. I'll come over and kick you in the nuts for free. It'll be like owning a Corolla, and you'll still have all your money!

+1, the two words should never be allowed to be said in the one sentence, especially referring to a Corolla as a "nice" car!

Hatchback Corollas are always in demand. UK models generally have bigger spec, but aren't any cheaper.

Cousin picked up an 04 T Spirit a few weeks back for around 4.5k. nice spec actually.

Yep, only the Luna 06 spec is decent one in Irish trim.
Colour Collection and T Spirit are the UK models to go for.

I sold those new for 6 years, and in that time I only ever saw one corolla sol. That's why I didn't mention it.

Far as I know they were only offered from 04 on which would automatically be over budget given the rarity.

That said if you got that for 5k....

Weren't they something like €27k new, as opposed to the boggo models which were more like about €20k. Typical of Irish Toyota owners though, go for the cheapest poverty spec model! And people say it's Skoda drivers that are pinchpennys?

They were absolutely kitted out to the max, just about everything worth having was standard in them!

This is the best corolla ever produced, it was rear wheel drive and 130bhp,

Unfortuanatly they are rare as a Dodo and are a very old model. But dont say there never was an exciting Corolla.
