How Efficent Is A Segner Wheel?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segner_wheel Came across this concept as I was perusing Youtube. Would this type of hydro-power be more or less efficent than something like a turbine etc.?? I'm only thinking of something on a small scale:D
