Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Firstly apologies for the lack of proper terminology.... But of a diy novice.

One interior door in our house has a problem where the piece attached to the handle doesn't fully reach to give a good close with the piece attached to the door frame. It means that if you push the door without pulling the handle down it still opens, or even if it's really windy out (draughts are probably another issue!)

Is there anything that can be done to help the door close more securely without having to do any major work?

You just need something to put in between the catch and the doorframe, so that the catch sticks out a bit more in order for the handle piece to go into the catch?

The door has two hinges . One at time remove the screws from a hinge ( the hinge attached to the door Frame and get some csrdboard ( like a cereal box and make it 4 times as thick - then place behind the hinge and screw back in ( same for below hinge ( if too little add more and not enough then add more :)
