Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not proud of myself (though I'd do it again!!)

Burger's a blend of ground Angus Sirloin and Prime Rib, cooked to order on a butter toasted bun, with apple wood smoked bacon & 4-year-old sharp aged Wisconsin cheddar.

    Chateaubriand_rub11_lrg.jpg

Not ground, minced or mixed with any other meat, just Aberdeen Angus Chateau briand.

    Ingredients:
    32oz Chateau brian steak
    3 tbsp dijon mustard
    1/4 cup espresso
    2 tbsp brown sugar
    2 tbsp kosher salt
    1 tbsp cocoa powder
    1 tbsp black pepper

    Directions: Method:
    1. Season the Chateaubriand lightly with kosher salt, and then rub the Dijon all over the beef. Set aside.
    2. Mix together the espresso, brown sugar, kosher salt, cocoa powder and black pepper.
    3. Roll the chateaubriand in the spice mixture.
    4. Grill the beef over a moderate flame until desired doneness is achieved. 130 degrees, internal temperature for medium rare.
    5. While the Beef is grilling, or beforehand, mix the butter with the lemon juice, cocoa powder, sugar and salt.
    6. After the beef is cooked and rested, slice and serve with the cocoa compound butter.

The gilda was named in honour of Rita Hayworth’s most famous film role because it’s green, salty and a little spicy, or in Spanish ‘verde, picante y salado’.

    Kobe Strip Steak – $350

    most-expensive-luxury-caviar-pizza-kobe-ok.jpg

The Old Homestead Steakhouse in New York, NY, serves up a 12-ounce Kobe strip steak Big Apple style. These are popular menu items despite the dollar figure – the restaurant serves up to 25 of these steaks a night. In what might be too-much-information, the cows are restricted from grazing so that they develop fat over muscle (no free-range here, unfortunately) but the result is a meat so tender it basically melts on your tongue. The cows do get massages though, according to those rumors, so it can’t be all that bad.

It's only a small part of the whol;e meal, all about taste b uds and saturation and the whole food experience.

    Eh, what?

1.55 US$ to the £ STG according to the app on my phone today.

    $350 divided by 1.55 is £226.09.

    Even using your 1.532 figure, it's nowhere near £366 (It's £228.46)

    http://www.xe.com/

for up to the minute... In the last 24 hours dollar went fromm 1.520 to 1.550 to GBP Just a matter when you checked.

LOL i was thinking of the whole meal and not just the steak.

So, we're both right, apologies for my assumption...
