Personally, the only real difference I see between the community here and America's fighting groups is some sportsmanship. You don't see players clutching to cheap characters much here, they play for the enjoyment of the game. For example, I was surprised to see not a single (serious) Phoenix player in Vanilla MvC3 over at Eirtakon.

In terms of skill, I honestly think you guys could kick their asses if you wanted to.

Maybe, Although there are definitely a handful players over there that would body us atm Viscant etc.

In the mean time, I feel like taking on the top players here will settle for a while longer

Pshaw. Viscant won't play against me cause he doesn't want distance-induced lag. Online playing is a different kettle ó fish of course, but in the one match I played (and lost) against him, I didn't see anything stand-out-crazy with his Taskmaster/Hawkeye/Doom team

I've never even bothered playing an American in Umvc. Can't imagine its good at all.

Played them a good bit and I can say that it can definitely be hit or miss with some

I've gotten a couple games were its pretty close to how our games run, but there has been some games with certain players that have just had terrible connections with myself

All I can say is Australia is the worst for online, dont ever play them in fgs, ping must be like 250ms+
