Listening to the radio online

    If I'm in work and I want to listen to the radio I plug in the headset and have online some radio station on. If I'm listening to music I am conscious of the song, artist etc and still get my work done but if I have a talk show on then I have no conscious memory of what was said over the last few minutes, the words just zone out. Then I have to mover the little slider back to listen again what was just said. Unless I stop working.
    Does this happen to others?
