Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Been getting these at random whilst surfing. I am also getting my connection trying to dial out when off line. I ran ad-aware and spy bot but these turned up nothing. Any suggestions? James

I was getting them too even though I have a personal firewall installed. I stopped the messenger service in Windows, but I know this isn't really the answer. This will just stop you seeing the message. Since I started using a router the port scans seem to have stopped (I don't get alerts about them anymore anyway).

As for the dialling out, have you got up to date virus software and run a full scan? There could be trojan on your computer or some other virus that is looking to reach the internet.

You could also try the Symantec Security Check to see if there are any blatent vulberabilities in your computer.
