Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a n 02 golf which has an issue on the abs braking system
the abs kicks in when i am slowing down at about 10kms.

fault codes are saying passenger abs sensor... but i have been told its the wheel bearing.

    anyone else have this issue

    thanks a million

Does the ABS lamp flash when you feel the pump kicking in? Or is the lamp illuminated constantly. A faulty wheel bearing could potentially damage the reluctor ring (ABS pick up) for the sensor and so log the fault code you have found. I suspect replacing the wheel bearing and checking the reluctor and sensor for any damage will cure your problem.

no the lamp does not flash,

the esp light and the abs sometimes come on, but go away.

i have been told it is not electrical and bearing issue, he is 80% sure...

If its inspected its should be obvious if bearing is gone or if the reluctor ring is damaged.
