He never heard of the Jack and Jill foundation until he stood up and tried to read his statement and was corrected for being a moron.

He obviously has an avid interest in their work.

Its a charitable foundation so they probably never gave Donie a "donation".

He isn't interested who they are or what they do if there isn't a few bob to be had out of them.

It demonstrates everything thats wrong with the Irish parish pump political system when a moron like Donie Cassidy gets to be leader of one of the houses of parliament. It would really make you despair when an intellectual nobody like him is allowed anywhere near Leinster house let alone lead the Seanad.

even the dogs on the street know who the jack and jill foundation is, and the great work it does
how do we expect this country to come out of the big problems we are now finding ourselves in, if this is the kind of person we have in a job that require him to know what is going on, this is serious

Ah the Seanad a wonderful advertisement for euthanasia. Given the dodgy dealings out at the airport how can we have such a man in charge of our so called upper house. You couldn't write a farce as pathetic as the reality.
