Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody and info on this ? Apparently a female pedestrian was killed yesterday at some stage according to a colleague.

    RIP if it's true.

Heard the rumors but nothing in the news. Hard to know if it happened or not.

Probably doesn't need discussion on here. If its a road fatality it will make the news.

My wife drove past there yesterday morning and there was a crash. They had blocked part of the road but traffic was still going by. I suspect if it was a very serious accident the whole road would have been closed and it would have been in the news.

Three lanes were closed, no travel from blanch village to castleknock station. There was a Golf with a dented in windscreen, and markings painted on the road that made it look like a pedestrian had been hit, but nothing on the news about it

I heard it was a German person on their way to work who got knocked down trying to cross the road :(
    RIP

Strange it wasn't on the news

Nothing on the news, (TV/paper) anywhere. Very hard to believe there was a fatality.

Yes, I've seen that as well with non reporting of some fatalities and front page reporting of others depending on a number of factors - slow news day, poignancy of the circumstances, where it happened etc. It doesn't diminish the tragedy however. My sympathies to the victim's loved ones if indeed it did happen.
