Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I've search google on this and couldn't find nought, hoping someone else has seen this.

I have restored a database from a full backup.
I received the message "Restore completed successfully".

When I go back into Management studio and look at my database under object explorer it has

    mydatabase(Restoring...)

and I can't drill down into the table or anything.
I've closed down SSMS, restarted services, same thing.
When I right click and go to properties it says "in the middle of restore".

But it already said restore completed successfully.

    Any ideas ?

    Cheers

What did you do the restore from ? Are you using backup software like Backup Exec ? If you are, Backup Exec can report that the restore is complete, while SQL server is still busy restoring the database.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reponse.
I did a sql server backup to a standard db.bak.
I restored this file just using SSMS.
