Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I am interested in starting a schola cantorum in the south county dublin area, maninly for children but adults welcome too especially families who want to learn to sing together.

Training would be using the Ward method, developed by justine Ward especially for training vocalists fo this sort of singing and sight reading, especially developed for working with children.

the hope is that after some initial work of 6-8 weeks the schola would be able to contribute regularly to a local sunday mass.

The singing practise would probably also include a time of prayer in the catholic tradition. Anyone welcome to join, just wanted to be clear about where I'm coming from :).
youngest age would be about 6, if there is much interest from 9 and older I might consider having a junior /senior set up.
