    - Under 25,000
    - 2 years old with under 35,000 miles on the clock
    - 0 to 60 in under 10 seconds
    - Preferabley a saloon car although I wouldn't mind a hatch
    - Some bit of luxury. Stuff like cruise control, air con, even leather wouldn't be bad.

So far, I've have one contender.

S40 2.0 TDi. 0-60 in 9.2 seconds. The SE model seems to have leather as standard with good trim levels. Price is not bad either. Might be hard to find low mileage in the Diesel models though.

I was thinking of a 1.9 TDi A4, but the prices are prohibitive for what you get.

This one seems to tick all the boxes.Has nice leather sport seat as standard and 0-60 is dispatched in 7.3 seconds.Nice colour that grabs attention.Faster than many cars that cost twice as much

Try sumthing like this if you want something more subtle.0-60 in about 10secs.Again nice colour and it has leather seats like the skoda. Will be super reliable as well.Overall lovely car

God, plenty of pep in that one anyways. Possible to get the VAG DSG Gearbox in it ?

I think I'd look for one that doesn't have blue calipers.

those are green, as are all calipers on VRS models AFAIK

Wouldn't be gone on this myself, but there's people up the road on their second one and the other car's the second IS220 which replaced a 3 series

    118d SE - 2.0 diesel

I'm no expert, but I reckon it won't do the 0-60 you're looking for but could be both fun and comfortable to drive.

Also have a look at this :D:D It's a saloon, hatch, estate and MPV all in one as well as giving Richard Hammond's camper boat a run for its money

I'd be wary of that 118d. The SE model wouldn't have the m-sport bumpers, to have them you had to buy the actual 118d m-sport AFAIK. It could be an incorrect listing i suppose. Its probably a UK car too so it'd need a hpi check and i'd check the original spec list with Bavaria in Belfast or Joe Duffy's.

I do like the diesel 1-series tho, I might go for a 120d sport in the UK after July. The 118d gets from 0-60 in 9.7s.

This is similar to Zondas initial reply but IMO this is the better option. It has plenty of bells and whistles, including cruise control, recaro leather seats, and dual climate ac like you pointed out. Very low mileage and 170hp from a 2.0 diesel is as much poke as you will need i reckon. Oh and 50 mpg!

Don't know for sure if DSG is available.

Unfortunately, skoda dont offer the dsg 'box on either vRS, that is the 170bhp2.0TDI and 200bhp2.0TFSI.Despite this its a fairly quick shifting manual and has plenty of torque in all gears. For another poster, now all vRS callipers are red.Dont ask me why but i assume its because the green ones faded
