    I was collecting herself last Friday night at 2am and there wasnt a taxi to be seen on Patrick Street.

    Funny you should mention that. My husband was on his works do last Friday, and couldn't get a taxi back to the Northside either. Must be a sign good times are back - some even whizzed past him with their lights on and wouldn't stop. That didn't happen as recently as a year ago...
