Hi could anyone reccomend satellite broadband in North Tipperary. We are in Newport area. We have Onwave which is good until evening when it becomes too busy to use (no streaming/down loading). Has anyone had experience with Munster Broadband. Thanks

    Are far outside Newport

ADSL and Fibre are available in Newport depending on where you are.

Know of a few ppl that used Munster , Seems to be an ok service

also know a co worker is using http://www.permanet.ie/products/home-packages/#wirelessbroadbandonly

coverage barely indicates Newport but might be worth asking as it is a better deal than the Munster package (speed wise)

Using them for a few years in the Murroe area, have been very reliable in that time. Occasional contention(?) issues but generally sorted after a phone call.

Have a look at the Ireland Offline coverage map to see what Wirless ISPs are available in your area - http://irelandoffline.org/map/

Satellite should be the last gasp option when all other options have failed
