Same here.

Its good that monthly games are not being religiously nailed down to either end or start of month. Its perfectly reasonable to have two decent monthly games running two weeks apart from each other.

After a profitable visit to waterford looks like this trip could be put on the agenda, however what will the league rape be, as after all i need as much as possible plunder to justify the journey.

Sorry for answering what I thought was a genuine question Bob.

For what it's worth I think if a club is running a league there should be a rake for it. (but that's only my personal opinion). Also the original post does state there is a maximum €100.

I would like to think the underlined is also tongue in cheek

But I do play a lot of poker in the deise area & feel therefore I am entitled to my opinions & I'm not one to hide behind other names etc. I say what I feel & I say it up front

It's great to see the 2 games in Waterford Friday night, think however I'll play the non-alco game.....by all accounts certain players got out of control at the last 2 day event in Wfd (Tower)!!

This thread is about the Monthly Tournament being held at Olympus, it's not about any other tournaments on in the same city or on the same day or in a different club. People are free to go whereever they like on the day, but this thread will remain on topic, that topic being this tournament.

If any other clubs want to start a thread about their tournaments they are welcome to start a thread and obey by the rules. Or they can choose not to, but discussing a completely unrelated tournament in this thread is not allowed.

If anyone has any questions that are relevant, civil and politely put regarding this tournament or the club policies in general, feel free to ask and the OP will answer them.

As I said any club is more then welcome to use this forum to promote their tournaments, but the same rules will apply to them, if they choose not to have a presence and answer questions that's equally fine, but another tournament won't be discussed in this thread. It will be discussed in a specific thread started by them with all the relevent info, etc.
