Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"You can see a million miles tonight, but you can't get very far"

    well you're my friend
    (it's what you told me)
    and can you see
    (what's inside of me)
    many times
    we've been out drinking
    and many times
    we've shared our thoughts
but did you ever, ever notice
the kind of thoughts I got
well you know I have a love
a love for everyone I know
and you know I have a drive
to live I won't let go
but can you see its opposition
    comes a-rising up sometimes
    that it's dreadful and position
    comes blacking in my mind

and that I see a darkness
and that I see a darkness
and that I see a darkness
and that I see a darkness
and did you know how much I love you
is a hope that somehow you you
can save me from this darkness

well I hope that someday, buddy
we have peace in our lives
    together or apart
    alone or with our wives
that we can stop our whoring
    and pull the smiles inside
    and light it up forever
    and never go to sleep
    my best unbeaten brother
    this isn't all I see

"When I am king you will be first against the wall"
    Radiohead

"I did go from wanting to be someone
Now I'm drunk and wearing flip-flops on Fifth Avenue O'Connell Street"

"In the lazy water meadow I lay me down.
All around me golden sun flakes settle on the ground.
Basking in the sunshine of a bygone afternoon
Bringing sounds of yesterday into this city room.

Hear the lark harken to the barking of the dark fox
    Gone to ground.
See the splashing of the kingfisher flashing to the water.
And a river of green is sliding unseen beneath the trees."

    Grantchester Meadows - Pink Floyd

Always reminds me of summers in my youth.

Give me therapy, I'm a walking travesty
    But I'm smiling at everything
Therapy, you were never a friend to me
You can choke on your misery.

    Therapy, All Time Low.

Meant a hell of a lot to me when I first heard it, even now it'll bring a tear to my eye.

"And what can I tell you my brother, my killer
    What can I possibly say?
I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you
I'm glad you stood in my way.

If you ever come by here, for Jane or for me
Your enemy is sleeping, and his woman is free"

    from Famous Blue Raincoat

    - L. Cohen.

i let go of a rope, thinking that's what held me back
and in time i've realized, it's now wrapped around my neck
i can't see what's next, from this lonely overpass
hang my head and count my steps, as another car goes past
all the rusted signs we ignore throughout our lives
    choosing the shiny ones instead
i turned my back, now there's no turning back
no matter how cold the winter, there's a springtime ahead

Thumbing my way banck to Heaven
    Eddie Vedder - Pearl Jam
