Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

OK so you expect to bend logic / reality for the sake of drama and the CSI series would be one of those shows that engages in a lot of dramatic licence but this had me seriously considering never watching the show again.

A suspect is found out in these circumstances: they had faked/overwritten the label on a bottle of water to cheat on an exam but had forgotten to remove the barcode. This barcode seemingly meant they could trace the bottle of water right the way to the shop it was sold where they then compared a credit card payment to prove that bottle of water was purchased by the suspect.

Seriously !!!In America it appears that all products have a unique barcode which changes so that every retailer has their own barcode for each product.

Just feels like the writers see the audience as complete and utter fools to put that one in.

Or have I missed something ???

But like each bar code is traceable to anywhere. like i dont have much experience in bar coding but im sure there are no too the same. just that what ever set up there is for eg milk where you can scan several of the same type different bottles. its all done when being purchased. beats me but all i know is bar coding is a strange world. but why you would want to pay by credit card for what a bottle that cost what $1. total utter madness there. unless its a swipe car. where i can see the point :D Happy bar coding
