Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have you checked for corrosion on the rotor arm and points. They can be very lightly sanded if corroded

Haven't you looked for a second hand one?

I rebuilt the distributor from my Integra, it's a simple job, yours is very similar.

I ordered the parts from Southside Motor Factors, I got a coil, igniter and rotar arm. The car has been bouncing off 9500RPM all year without a bother. If you get the parts and want to do it yourself I'll do a guide

Second hand parts for the Beat are very hard to come by , and ill only put another 20year old dizzy in if I'm really stuck , ill give Southside Motor Factors a call , thanks folks .

What GITR said. My dizzy went wallop on my honda a few months back and I replaced the coil pack on the advice of G. 40 quid and a half hour later and up she started good as gold. Didn't even have to bother G for more advice. :) I will say the screw that holds in the rotor is a right evil bastard to crack and remove. Do NOT risk rounding it off or... oh god. Decent screwdriver all the way.
