Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I have an older flat screen tv with DVI in and phono
currently i have a sky box hooked up with an HDMI to DVI and audio in via phono, however i have cancelled sky.

I wanted to connect a chromecast up to it but it doesn't have any analog audio out..

is there such a cable that exists?

    Thanks

Yes there are cables you will find them on Amazon, just search for HDMI audio extraction and you will find boxes that split the audio into RCA or SPDIF.

You plug the Chromecast into the input on the box then connect the output to the TV along with the audio cables and it should work, the only thing to watch for is HDCP, if your TV didn't support that you might run into issues rendering the Chromecast useless. Probably time for a new TV if so as everything uses HDCP these days.
