    Are there any game societies in the college or anything dedicated to computer programing or creating games

    you could get involved with coderDojo Sligo. They teach/give lessons to kids on Saturdays in the IT on gaming and coding. Check out their facebook page and twitter.

    Would also look really good on your CV and most of the asisstants are students, business people and lecturers so you would also make good contacts.

    If you ask in the students union if there was one set up this year. If there is none you could set one up. The students union will be able to advise also.

    Thanks I will do that. I signed up for game society during freshers week like a few weeks ago so was wondering why there was no email sent out yet. A lot of stuff going on seems to be sports based
