Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

The CA for Auditing is on in March.

Anyone from CAP2 last year have any advice/tips for this assessment?

How do you prepare for it?

It's open-book, so what should bring to the assessment on the day?

I don't know where to start for this one!

    Thanks,

    techman.

forget about using any books etc. for your CA. u wont have time. maybe have an a4 page of bulleted condensed notes for clarification/reassurance if necessary. but fcuk it - do what everyone does and bring the whole lot in with u *just in case*

There is a list of 4 areas on the student website and one of these areas will be examined. There are also 3 past assessment papers, 2 on payables and 1 on inventories. Inventories is one of the areas which could be examined in March so make sure you get to grips with that paper.
Learn all the audit procedures relating to each of these 4 areas and relate your answers back to the company in question and you should be ok in my opinion. The suggested solutions are not very detailed - bullet point answers are required.
Personally I don't think this is going to be too painful but I'm bringing my notes too *just in case*!
