Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

sound samples sites

    hey guys

    do ye know of any sites where they would give any samples of a specific sound of guitar and/or amp combo eg;


    a les paul through mesa boogie with a digital delay
    a strat through a marshall stack with a big muff etc.

    any advice would be appreciated

    I don't think you will get the combinations but many sites like Vox, Laney carry sound files that generally give the type of guitar plus the amp or modelling unit/effect they are trying to sell you!!

    I'd say your best bet is to trawl through guitar forums and listen to other people's mp3s. The Harmony Central Amps forum is great for clips. No one really seems to post clips here. :confused:
