Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just a quick quest regarding rent allowance.... is it common for there to be a delay in processing the cheque?? It comes every thursday but didnt come this week today or yesterday... is this a cause for worry?

Was your post delivered? The snow is causing delays in my area. I got mine a day late.

I misread the header; we are 4 months into our tenancy and still waiting for Rent Allowance; the hold up is the council assessment. The paperwork with changing area is unbelievable. Why they cannot just transfer etc beats me; we have around E20 a week left after paying our rent. Thankfully the Solid Fuel alloance etc has clicked in. But in this weather...

It actually came it was a postal delay but Graces7 keep getting on to them about processing it that will speed them up! I had mine within a month but i know a girl who waited nearly as long as ye and when she started getting on to them about it, it came through quicker!

if your sharing apartment with 2 other people who are working and your getting rent allowance and you have a spare single bed in your room can you get a friend to share it with you and will that person get the 66 euro aweek to back the rent ? so can you people get rent allowance for sharing apartment even if the person are sharing a the same room ?

Unlikely, but at the same time your CWO will clarify this for you.
