Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Something a bit different label-wise

Most of my friends wear Abercrombie/Hollister/Superdry/Converse etc. As we are in our 30s now, what is around brand/label wise that isn't so commercial/widely worn as these brands that I could look into changing to. Just seem to see everyone wearing these brandss. Thanks.

For jeans, Nudie or Levis. Very good quality, shapes and nice flat colours. Very simple branding too.

Selected Homme (in BT2 and Arnotts) have a very well priced and fashionable range. They do nice plain-ish tees, jackets and jeans, as well as some more fashion forward shirts and blazers http://selected.com/homme/sl-landing-homme,en_GB,sc.html

French Connection and Ted Baker both do lovely shirts. FC have nice jeans and chinos too. http://www.frenchconnection.com/category/man/man.htm http://www.tedbaker.com/men%27s/intro.aspx

I don't think it's so much about changing brands as it is changing styles. Abercrombie do lovely trousers, but it's a little lame to wear them with a matching tee and jacket. Pick and choose your favourite bits to make a new, mature look. Hollister have nice shirts, but just style them so you don't look like an older One Direction :p

DERP I am sorry, I don't know why I read that all as male!

    Ok, let me start again!!

Zara. Zara. And Zara. It is the best high street shop out there. Very fast moving, fashionable stock, and they always have the basics in too - quality shirts, dresses and jackets. A trench coat is a nice piece to have (well, when it's not miserable out), with dark blue jeans and a nice shirt or long sleeve jersey.

Gap for perfect jeans. Seriously, I think they're so overlooked but they have excellent jeans. Also good for stripy casual tops.

M&S's Indigo Collection is really nice and easy to wear http://www.marksandspencer.com/Indigo-Collection-Womens/b/210714031?ie=UTF8&intid=gnav_women_brand_indigo-collection

Shoes, maybe some brogues or leather ankle boots. Converse are great to have though too, a perfect match for jeans!

I just made this on Polyvore as a very simple day time look. It's nothing too out there, but I think it's chic and age-appropriate.
