Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Disabling auto logout?

I have an iBook G4 and whenever i leave it to do a long process such as encoding a divx or whatever, it logs itself out after an hour of no user input, even though processes are still running. This is most annoying since i can't find anywhere to deactivate it.

Anyone any similar experience or suggestions?

Have you checked the system preferences? Either under users or some kind of power management preference? Can't remember the exact pref pane, I think it contains the screensaver preference also.

Thanks for suggestion, since then I had a tinker with everything but still my problem remains. Ah well! Leaving an unsaved document of any kind open stops it logging off but it's a bit annoying.

System Preferences -> Security -> Untick "Logout after XX minutes". See if that sorts it.
