I recently signed up for the UFC Fight pass but it looks like live PPV's are not included, or you have to at least wait a certain amount of time before being able to watch them.

Are they on Sky Box Office or BT Sport? If so, are they live?

    BT Sport have UFC

They have all PPV's, Fight Nights, Ultimate Fighter and other UFC shows

Well worth the subscription for UFC alone but if you follow soccer you get some great live PL games to

It's €19 per month at the moment

I pay for the BT Sports package (includes Setanta) annually. I think it's around 300 e per year.

    For that fee I get:
All UFC events (Including PPV events (UFC184, for example) or UFC Fight Night cards (The free-to-air ones shown on Fox Sports in the US)
UFC Preliminary Fights (which are on before the main cards start)
The Ultimate Fighter (The UFC reality series)
    Cage Warriors

I also get access to the odd football game not shown on Sky Sports which is handy.

Sounds good, I'm just getting into UFC. I already have Sky Sports but don't know if I fancy paying an extra €19 a month.

Is there much UFC content on BT Sport each week?

BT Sports do a Beyond the Octagon weekly thing which basically looks back on the most recent event, whats to come in the next event and generally interviews a fighters. There's also a chat show thing that's on too but I'm not sure what it's called.

I got the Setanta/BT Sports pack two weeks ago on an annual fee of €199.

All the UFC events (excluding Fight Pass Prelims)

    Premier League

    Some kind of rugby.

    NBA

    NHL

College Basketball (which is far more entertaining than the NBA)

    MLB (I think?)

    WRC

From next season BT have the UK exclusive rights to Champions League and Europa League.

All that for less than €17 a month is well worth it.

The odd fight nights aren't shown live on BT, generally they are shown though the last events in Oz and Japan weren't aired live

Maybe those events were Fight Pass exclusives.

Is the Setanta website the only way to sign up if you have Sky? Or can I just call Sky and get them to add Setanta/BT Sport?

Ouch. I got the €99 deal back at the start of December for a year. Anything over a tenner for the Setanta pack is overpaying.

I watch the Football mostly and then UFC and a small bit of American Sports. Their coverage quality isn't great though so I couldn't justify that price

What's the normal cost per PPV event for the UFC?

Pretty steep here in fairness what is it in Ireland?

BT and Setanta is 20 quid a month at the most, you can get deals and that for paying upfront or for different times of the year. All UFCs and most Fight Nights are on BT!

    $50 here in Australia.
Fight night cards are on the Sky sports equivalent.

Streaming isn't a reliable option for me with USB/Mobile Internet.
I usually go to the pub and watch it for free.

€18 to buy the pay-per-view in Ireland.

    That's on UFC.ty right?

Thats something that really annoys me.
At Christmas it cost me €15.99 or so to buy the PPV at home.
But in Australia, I have to pay $49.99, which is around €34 euro, essentially twice the price for the same stream.

Obviously, I understand that they probably have some contractual agreement where they can't undercut the PPV provider, but its bloody annoying

If you sign up for Setanta/BT Sport through the website, how long does it take until you can watch the channel through Sky?

    Thanks.

I cancelled my Sky Sports subscription last week. I have a bit of an interest in football but not very much. To be honest I usually only watched WWE on it :)
