Today is the day we've all been waiting for. The build up has been palpable but we're almost there. That's right it's the Finn Harps derby day.

FHFC vs Finnharpsboy face off for bragging rights and passage to the next round of the FSA League Cup. 57 places separate them in the FSA league structure but that counts for nothing this weekend.

The teams are in:

FHFC: -4

Green
Terry - Kompany - Hutton
Sanchez - Hazard (c) - Eriksen - Downing
RVP - Bony - Costa

Subs: Boyd - Dummett - Duff

Finnharpsboy: -8

Guzan
Wisdom - Wilson - Clyne
Yaya - Hazard (c) - Sterling - Sanchez
Bony - Sakho - Costa

Subs: Boyd - Wasilewski - Chambers

Some key differentials today which could swing it either way. Finnharpsboy's extra -4 could swing the early advantage to FHFC.

It's no doubt a big day for the FSA and should prove to be a money spinner with a full house as the last of the tickets were snapped up within minutes of 9am this morning.

One thing for sure is that Donegal will have representation in the next round. The atmosphere is hotting up already with just under 3 hours over 30 minutes still to go for this special weekend in FSA history..........

My opponent didn't captain Costa, and I did. That gives me hope. I took a 12 point hit, he didn't take a hint. I'd be doing well to survive this round.

Thought it was closer, but Sterling to outscore Green, Eriksen and RVP by 9 is probably not gonna happen. I feel a bit bad though, what of a Harps fan am I!! We don't do derby wins......

Ooooh, a rematch of the notorious league win for my upstarts vs Lemlins hasbeens. This one will be an early kick off folks. Expect police horses and heavy security after the 'robust' atmosphere last time out, leave the kiddies at home.

2nd vs 6th in the FSA Top Flight. This is the big one!

This is exactly the draw the lads wanted. We don't like winning cups the easy way. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.

Rumours of a veteran striker, hero of seasons past, being drafted in for this game and possibly given the captaincy. I cannot confirm or deny these rumours at present.

Unless Chambers scores an o.g. and gets sent off and Costa also gets his marching orders I'm out. I would have loved to progress to the last eight but it just wasn't to be. It's even more hard to take when my opponent beats me with just 10 players.

I'm laptopless so results and draw won't be tonight (unless someone else wants to calculate results), draw will be Wednesday night unless I can find a free bit of time in work (of course that's significantly more likely or even probable if the results are compiled elsewhere)
