my friends band do the best cover of Marilyn Manson's Sweet Drema you will ever hear! Seriously! And they even change it a little so its not a complete rip off! but its excellent!

I have an album of Nirvana covers by punk bands. Vibrators, Uk Subs, Agent Orange, Dee Dee Ramone, DOA, etc... 'Tis cool.

One day somebody will say something and you will feel really old. Eurithmics is the band name but it was more like a partnership.

Tainted Love is also not a M M song or even a Marc Almond song as he covered it.

Everything on the Were A Happy Family Cd is classic. Its got bands on it like Rancid, Rob Zombie, Zeke, Tom Waits, RHCP, Metallica, Pretenders amongst others. Check it out.

I believe Green Day did a Cover of Outsider not Blitzkrieg Bop. Rob Zombie did BB.

Outsider was on Shenanegans. But they do a live cover of Blitzkrieg Bop every now and then.

NOFX did a great cover of Vincent by Don McClean

There's a really good cover of Better Things done by Fountains of Wayne on a Ray Davies tribute cd I have (it was in the end of the Manchurian Candidate remake)

Boys set fire do a wicked version of the DK's Hoilday in Cambodia
Leatherface doing In the Ghetto
and there is a tribute to Conflict album called Barricades and broken dreams that is fcking excellent.
