Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Warlords in Drone Frenzy – Global Rollout Planned

Pentagon lists 66 countries as eligible to buy US drones

The 66 countries were listed in a Defense Department policy worked out last year to clear the way for wider overseas sales of unmanned aerial systems, as the Pentagon calls such drones, said Richard Genaille, deputy director of the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency. He did not name them.

Not enough is reported about these cowardly weapons of mass destruction that are being increasingly used by these so called "keepers of peace" nations against this so called "war on terror".

Actual Logo found on US Military Drones.

The Nazi's were condemned for using the V1 bomb to terrorise London civilians during WW2 as these devices killed indiscriminately wherever they landed. The only difference between the V1 and US armed military drone is that one is an unmanned total loss device while the other is an unmanned device that can be reloaded again. The VI flying bomb gave adequate warning from the sound of its pulse jet engine cutting out giving you those vital seconds to run for cover. The Military drone dose not.

A drone treatise by Zen Gardner dramatized by the amazing, talented Snordelhans.

Firstly they are NOT weapons of mass destruction, indeed they have less firepower than most conventioal attact fighter bombers.
Rest of the post reads like a thinly veiled "I hate the USA" rant.

I think Ireland should have a couple of these drones for patrolling the coastline etc.

    The only difference???

The rockets were hideously inaccurate fire and forget weapons, the drone lets the user fire a missile, watch it on camera and direct it onto target exactly. Small scale explosive guided highly accurately onto specific targets. Hardly the same as the rocket.

70% of drone strikes in Pakistan over the last three years included innocent civilian targets, I would certainly not call that accurate.

The US reduce that claim to 30% which is even still excessively too high, I would not believe Barack Obama's version as he is the person trying to market this technology.

A serious thread about the Political impact of using manned Vs unmanned weapons systems might just have some legs.

This is not it. This is ranting/conspiracy stuff and as such not suited to this forum.

    Cheers
