Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Construction with 5th & 6th Class

With regard to construction with 5th and 6th class (age approx 11 years old), I would like a recommendation on what would be a nice project for the kids to make.

For e.g. in a previous year, we made little small bird houses made out of light ply wood and we displayed them from classroom ceiling.

Would love an equally exciting project for the kids to do.

Would really appreciate any recommendations anyone might have.

    Thanks

I remember making a crib when in 5th/6th class though I'm not sure if that is really something that is made in schools anymore!

I think a picture frame - rustic and simple - would be nice. They can then put a photo in, use an acetate as a protector and give it as a gift!

I like that idea alright of a rustic type photoframe - Def will be an option.

    Thanks for that!
