    Its a tragedy. He was a great actor with a lot of promise, which he mostly fulfilled, I could see him in films, he had that level of screen presence. It shouldn't have happened but at least he defined a role that will never be forgotten, that's better than what most actors achieve. RIP Andy Whitfield.

    This shocked me earlier when I read about it. So sad. I was a big fan of his performance in the first season of the show. RIP.
