Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Joe wants to spend more time learning history. I can suggest a way he can gain 75 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

Music singing, dancing and light-hearted fun on the Beeb followed by fireworks. We get misery and constant reminders that the country is in ___ on RTE.

They are talking about de Politicians on RTE 1. We love pissing ourselves off.

    Miserabilisms.

Nothing like a bit of politics twenty minutes before the New Year starts.

"We decided to give ex politicians 150K a year"... My god... Joe gets 250K for less than ten hours a week broadcasting... He's a sickening individual, I wish somebody in there had the balls to tackle him

It was, but in fairness to her, the sound was absolutely terrible, which wasn't entirely her or her bands fault.

    RTE best now with Madness.

Better than Gary Barlow and his Take That pop stuff.

It will be very interesting to see what RTE do with the Dublin fireworks display (after last years fiasco) which lasted about 30 seconds, before the cameras cut away. Hoping that we get a good display on RTE this year (in about four mins time) . . .

    Happy New Year all.

I'd ask anybody who admires Joe Duffy to listen to this from 2:12 ...

When Colette asked if he thinks are the salaries at RTE excessive (basically alluding to his own excessive wage), he says "It's not for me to judge".. Yet he sits in judgement on people who take LESS from the public purse then he does...

Preaches socialism to the masses, and lives by different ideals... If I'm being unfair please call me on it..

Well, Dublin Port didn't let us down, lovely fireworks over Ringsend way.....:)...

Thank God for a bit of Madness.

    bbc fire works are AWESOME

The fireworks are nothing to do with BBC or RTE.

All paid for by local councils, ie taxpayers.

    So what do you want?
