    Im selling my beloved xps1330 today , The question i have is : How do i restore back to factory settings

    easiest way is to pop in the recovery cd/dvd that came with it, boot off it, select recover, and bob is your fathers brother.

    Assuming you have backed it up first, any personal stuff on it.

    or press ctrl-f11 during boot like mentioned here

    I dont seem to have any recovery cd. I have all the cds that came with the computer no recovery cd.

    when its booting up, hold down ctrl and keep tapping f11, does that bring up a recovery screen?
