Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Techwood 22FHD Combi - power surge / lightening strike damage ?

    Hi,

    My niece's TV took a hit during the storm a few nights ago - a power surge ?
    It gave a bang and blue flash and died :(

    It now won't turn on - hardly surprising :rolleyes:

    The PSU board has a component (3 pin -like a regulator) mounted on a heat sink that has suffered damage. The front on the encapsulation was blown out - the side with the part no. on usually. God only knows what it was now. Tried to trace service data on the web .............. no hope.

    What are the chances of a successful repair ?

    Who repairs Techwood sets ?
