Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can't load boards on laptop via chrome. Screen says no data received. All ok on touch site.

I have a regular issue with the touch site. I follow a number of threads and I can see there are new posts on "my threads" tab but when I click on the thread it brings me to the top of the page I'd already read. It takes more new posts before the new page becomes visible.

On the touch site. Getting loads of 'unavailable/503' errors and when things do load, it's very slowly.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Yep 503 for me on the www. site.

Its generally a bit like wading though treacle.

"Service unavailable" coming up regularly for me this morning.

The hamsters appear to have revolted in anger at their lack of time off over the weekend.

Getting it myself on touch site - seems to be more when I go into Sub threads (charter etc) as opposed to main titled threads (Gaming etc) if that's any help?

503's on both the main site and the mobile site, no specific areas, seems to be across a range of areas of the site.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Getting 503 Service unavailable when trying to access homepage moments ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,636 ✭✭✭feargale

"Service unavailable" coming up regularly for me this morning.

Same here, and today boards is very, very slow.
Another thing: For a year or more every time I post it appears in duplicate. I have to go roundabout to avoid this. Others seem to have the same problem.

I see on twitter that boards are aware of the problem and working on it.

I wonder what Dav done this time to break it :)

It was fine until you said that. Suddenly 503 etc. Don't insult the hamsters!! (Makes me wonder can I say ****e without the asterix?)

Seriously though it was working back to flakiness again.

    Edit to add; No I can't (****!)

Yep there's something horribly wrong if you're turning up being good looking and all that...looks like a major fix is in order if even El Weirdo is turning El Conventional.

Sorry about lack of updates everyone, we couldn't log in here either :o

As you may have noticed things are back up and running now. We'll have a more details explanation of what happened once we've gone through everything. Thanks for your patience :)

Incorrect, we're still with Digiweb as you can see cited on the footer of every single page on the site.
