Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Find out the price and post it later.

13 euro for 40 kg in Kellys.

Kelly's is €15.50 for Polish and €17.40 for Super Coal (both Black Diamond/Bord na Mona)
    Briquettes are 3 for €11.

I got a bag in Justin's a few weeks back and it was nowhere near the quality of the Black Diamond stuff.

Any latest deals on coal and wood in d15?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 935 ✭✭✭dicky82

there is a guy delivers to the door for E20. 40kg its quality coal too. long burning time and great heat off it. not like that muck in the yellow bags at topaz or apple green.

20 delivered seems excessive, surely there is some fuel stores in dub 15?

I was in a place just beside Bargaintown in Glasnevin industrial estate, yesterday, and it's 8 euro for 20kg. Seemed cheap to me when it was so central.

Other deals on logs, turf and car tires seemed cheaper than usual.

Always best to stock up and buy 6+ bags at a time if it's feasible (transport wise). Even if there's no formal discount you could ask :)
Got a bag in Topaz because I was stuck a while back and they're all perfectly rounded pieces but take ages to light and give off little heat.

Oh dear god I bought the stuff in applegreen Clonsilla.

So bad, took ages to light, not great heat and a bag only lasted me two nights.
