Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We're in the process of buying a house and i'm exploring the options for making the heating smarter/more efficient.

I am an electronic engineer and i have the heating in our current place running via google calendar with a controller i built myself. For the next step i would like to add temperature sensing into the equation and have designed nodes for each room that will report back temperature/humidity etc.

What i would like to do is control each rad independently so i can let each room regulate its own temp and also let me create any number of zones as i wish. In the new place there is an internal boiler with all rads and water on the same circuit.

The RVA-001 seem like the least hassle to install and also silent operation but they seem rather expensive to me. Motorised two ports are a little cheaper but would need to be fitted by someone else and i imagine that could be an expensive job doing all 8 rads?

Any other options for remote controlling rads? I'd prefer wired for reliability and low voltage (24v or under)
