Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I wish people would stop typing "meelan".

    It looks very foolish.

Yeah what channels have rights to the Serie A now?
Think there was some sort of balls up with the rights, and Setanta and Channel 5 were going for the rights, but not sure who has the rights?

in fairness - he is right - why type their name like a bitter little child. No better then writing Chelski or Manure.

    +1 on the Meelan thing.

We get it. Thats how its pronounced. Unfortunately its not how it's spelled.

Should the whole board revert to some kind of phonetic gibberish?

I assume you meant nor not or,
Do you really think averyone here could agree on anything? ever?

I am sure it is not that retarded, it is a concise way of differentiating two teams which often get mixed up in my opinion.
What I find retarded is the amount of people who have picked me up on it regardless of wether they agree or disagree with the term.

AC Milan V Internazionale would also have worked without any confusion whatsoever. Their actual names. Now what could cause confusion is completely misspelling a teams name to the point where someone needs to pronounce it to be sure of who its referencing.

nope. its retarded. dont use it again and ppl wont care about it.
it really is as simple as that.

Rubbish! No reason you could not have just written Milan vs Internazionale, or AC Milan vs Internazionale, would have worked just as well, no confusion, and no need to a liitle child over it.
Where on earth does it clarify why writing Meelan is not actually a childish act?
