Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2010 fluence, oil leak?

    Hi lads.
Thinking of buying a 2010 Renault fluence 1.5 diesel.

Went for a look at it and it appears it wasn't really looked after. Had a very low coolant level.

The thing that stuck out was I noticed there was what appeared to be oil on the top of the engine. I know sweet fu*k all about this kind of stuff.

I took a few photos if anybody has any information as to what it could be.
Is it a big problem or should I just stay away from it?

    Cheers

There are plenty of used Fluences for sale so you can afford to be fussy.

If in doubt move on. As Bazz says plenty of used Fluences about the place, not like it's a rare car or something.

True. It's just they were giving me a good trade in!

Its not the trade in figure, it's the total cost to you.
And if you have seen signs they aren't the best garage, stay well clear.
