Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all,

Noticed today that there is some smoke ( not alot ) coming from the engine when I lift up the bonnet. Is this normal for a diesel engine? Its a peugeot 407 SR 1.6 HDI 2005 & where is the Air filter located exactly:confused:

I'd say one or more of the injector seals are leaking....remove the 16valve
black cover..it just pulls up and have alook in and around each injector,
if your see a blackish substance/carbon around one or more then its the seals.there not expensive but the injector(s) needs to come out to replace the seals.

The air filter is at the back of the engine...behind the the black 16valve cover.
